How does Green Dot Bank collect my personal information?

your account

■ give us your contact information

Why can’t I limit all sharing?

■ sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes — information about your creditworthiness
■ affiliates from using your information to market to you
■ sharing for non-affiliates to market to you

Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
■ Our affiliates include companies with a common corporate identity of Green Dot (such as our parent bank holding company Green Dot Corporation), financial companies such as Unirush, LLC and tax processing companies such as Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, LLC.

Nonaffiliates
|
Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
■ Nonaffiliates we share with can include retail partners and other companies engaged in direct marketing and the selling of consumer products and services.

Joint marketing
|
A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

If you are a resident of California or Vermont, we will not share with nonaffiliates except for our everyday business purposes or with your consent.
